Adoption of the Commonwealth Act

4. Adoption of the Commonwealth Act



(1) The Commonwealth Act, as originally enacted and as amended from time to
time by regulations made in accordance with the Commonwealth Act, is adopted
within the meaning of section 51(xxxvii) of the Commonwealth of Australia
Constitution Act.

(2) The adoption under subsection (1) has effect for a period commencing on
the day on which this Act commences (but not so as to give effect to any
adopted provision before that provision commences under section 2 of the
Commonwealth Act) and ending on the day fixed under section 6 of this Act as
the day on which the adoption terminates.
