TRANSPORT INTEGRATION ACT 2010 - SECT 196

S. 196(1) amended by No. 34/2023 ss 77, 118(1).

    (1)     The Chief Investigator, Transport Safety may enter into a memorandum of understanding with Safe Transport Victoria, or any other person or body that is permitted by the regulations, about the performance or exercise of their respective functions or powers.

    (2)     A memorandum of understanding—

        (a)     must include any matters required by the regulations;

        (b)     may include any other matters that the parties to the memorandum consider appropriate.

    (3)     The Chief Investigator, Transport Safety must ensure that a memorandum of understanding that the Chief Investigator, Transport Safety enters into is published—

        (a)     in the Government Gazette; and

        (b)     on the Internet.
