TRANSPORT INTEGRATION ACT 2010 - SECT 115I
Acting Chief Executive(1) If the Chief Executive of Safe Transport Victoria is unable, whether because of illness, suspension, absence or otherwise, to perform the duties of Chief Executive, the Minister may appoint another person to act in the place of the Chief Executive during the period of the inability.
(2) A person appointed under subsection (1) to act in the place of the Chief Executive of Safe Transport Victoria while so acting—
(a) has, and may exercise, all the powers, and must perform all the duties, of the Chief Executive; and
(b) is to be paid any remuneration and travelling or other allowances for the time being payable to the Chief Executive.
