TRANSPORT ACCIDENT ACT 1986 - SECT 75
Overpayments(1) If, by reason of anything done or omitted to be done by a person claiming compensation, the Commission pays to the person an amount of compensation that exceeds the amount due to the person, or that is an amount the Commission is not liable to pay, the person is liable to refund that amount to the Commission.
(2) The Commission may recover any amount a person is liable to refund to it as a debt due to the Commission.
