Pre-accident weekly earnings-self-employed persons

5. Pre-accident weekly earnings-self-employed persons

In this Act, pre-accident weekly earnings in relation to an earner who is a
self-employed person who is injured in or dies as a result of a transport
accident means the amount assessed by the Commission having regard to the
earnings of the person during the three years immediately preceding the
accident, costs incurred by the person in obtaining the services of persons in
connexion with the business on account of the earner's incapacity and any
amounts the earner could have earned from any other occupation.
