TOBACCO ACT 1987 - SECT 20

    (1)     The Foundation shall perform its functions and exercise its powers subject to any guidelines or directions on any matter or class of matters declared by the Governor in Council on the recommendation of the Minister after consultation with the Minister administering the Sport and Recreation Act 1972 by notice published in the Government Gazette to be guidelines or directions for the purposes of this section.

    (2)     Section 15 of the Subordinate Legislation Act 1994 applies to a guideline of which notice is published under subsection (1) as if the guideline were a statutory rule within the meaning of that Act notice of which had been published in the Government Gazette on the day on which the notice under subsection (1) was published.

    (3)     A guideline notice of which is published under subsection (1) is subject to disallowance by a House of the Parliament and sections 23, 24 and  25 of the Subordinate Legislation Act 1994 apply as if the guideline were a statutory rule notice of which had been published in the Government Gazette on the day on which the notice under subsection (1) was published.
