83B. Other functions

The Chief Investigator also has the following functions-

   (a)  to liaise with international, Commonwealth and State bodies and
        agencies that have similar functions to those of the Chief
        Investigator;

   (b)  to administer any safety reporting system that is set up under section
        85F;

   (c)  to improve the quality and professionalism of his or her
        investigations by educating those who are involved in the operation or
        use of public transport or vessels;

   (d)  to do anything else specified by the regulations.
