Powers of Secretary

6. Powers of Secretary







(1) The Secretary has power, on behalf of the Crown, to do all things that are
necessary or convenient to be done for or in connection with, or as incidental
to, the performance of the functions of the Department and the achievement of
its objects under this Act.

(2) The generality of subsection (1) must not be taken to be limited by any
other provisions of this Act conferring a power on the Secretary.
