Sharing of information

43. Sharing of information



(1) Except as otherwise provided by an order under section 42, the Secretary
or any other person employed in the Department may divulge or communicate to
the Adult Parole Board any information obtained under this Act if the person
divulging or communicating that information believes on reasonable grounds
that to do so is necessary to enable that Board to exercise its functions
under this or any other Act.

(2) Except as otherwise provided by an order under section 42, the Adult
Parole Board may divulge or communicate to the Secretary or any other person
employed in the Department any information obtained by it under this Act if
that Board believes on reasonable grounds that to do so is necessary to enable
the Secretary to exercise his or her functions under this or any other Act.

(3) Nothing in this section limits or affects any requirement imposed by any
other provision of this Act for the Adult Parole Board to be notified by the
Secretary of any matter.
