Adjournment of hearing

32. Adjournment of hearing



(1) The court hearing an application under this Part may, on the application
of a party to the proceeding or without any such application, adjourn the
hearing of the proceeding-

   (a)  to such times and places; and

   (b)  for such purposes; and

   (c)  on such terms as to costs or otherwise-

as it considers necessary or just in the circumstances.

(2) On an adjournment the Bail Act 1977 applies, with any necessary
modifications, to and in respect of an offender who is being held in custody
under section 31 as if the offender were accused of an offence and were being
held in custody in relation to that offence.
