70H. Lapse of application where offender ceases to be a registrable offender

A change of name application under this Part by or on behalf of an offender
lapses if-

   (a)  the registrable offender ceases to be a registrable offender; and

   (b)  the Victorian Registrar has not registered the change of name before
        the registrable offender ceases to be a registrable offender.
