Sex Offenders Registration Act 2004 - SECT 70E

Approval to be notified in writing

70E. Approval to be notified in writing

If the Chief Commissioner of Police approves a change of name application, the
Chief Commissioner must-

   (a)  as soon as practicable, give written notice of the approval to the
        person who made the application; and

   (b)  if the registrable offender consents, give a copy of the written
        notice of approval to the Victorian Registrar or the Interstate
        Registrar (as the case so requires).
