Possession

9AD. Possession





(1) The purchaser under a prescribed contract of sale is not entitled to
possession of the lot to which the contract relates before the registration of
the relevant plan of subdivision.





(2) The vendor under a prescribed contract of sale shall not require the
purchaser under the contract to take possession of the lot to which the
contract relates before the registration of the relevant plan of subdivision.

Penalty: 50 penalty units.

(3) The vendor shall allow the purchaser under a prescribed contract of sale
reasonable access to the lot for any purpose connected with the proposed
development or use of the lot.



(4) This section does not apply to possession of a lot by a purchaser in
consideration of a payment of an occupation fee.
