Subsidiaries

87. Subsidiaries



(1) The Treasurer may, by Order published in the Government Gazette declare
that a provision of this Act applies to a subsidiary of a State business
corporation or of a State owned company with such modifications as the
circumstances require.

(2) A State business corporation and a State owned company must take such
action in relation to the constituent documents and management of each of its
declared subsidiaries as are necessary to ensure that the businesses,
activities and other affairs of the subsidiary are carried out in accordance
with the provisions of this Act that apply to it by reason of subsection (1).
