Audit by Auditor-General

73. Audit by Auditor-General



(1) The Auditor-General may, and if the articles of a State owned company so
provide, must, act as auditor of a State owned company.

(2) The Auditor-General, and any person authorised by the Auditor-General, has
in respect of an audit of a State owned company all the powers of an auditor
under the Corporations Act.

(3) A State owned company must pay to the Treasurer for payment to the
Consolidated Fund, an amount to be determined by the Auditor-General to defray
the costs and expenses of an audit under powers conferred on the
Auditor-General under this section.
