Acting general director

29. Acting general director

The relevant Minister may appoint a person to act as a general director of a
State business corporation-

   (a)  during a vacancy in the office of a general director; or

   (b)  during any period, or during all periods, when a general director is
        acting as deputy chairman or is unable, for any reason, to attend
        meetings of the board.
