Acting deputy chairman

28. Acting deputy chairman

The relevant Minister may appoint a director of a State business corporation
to act as deputy chairman-

   (a)  during a vacancy in the office of deputy chairman; or



   (b)  during any period, or during all periods, when the deputy chairman is
        acting as chairman or is unable, for any reason, to attend meetings of
        the board.
