Acting chairman

27. Acting chairman



(1) When-

   (a)  the office of chairman is vacant; or

   (b)  the chairman is absent from Victoria or is, for any reason, unable to
        attend meetings of the board or otherwise unable to perform the duties
        of the office-

the deputy chairman of the State business corporation must act as chairman.

(2) While the deputy chairman is acting as chairman, the deputy chairman has
and may exercise all the powers, and must perform all the duties, of the
chairman.
