Neglect to prosecute

57. Neglect to prosecute

If a person who has filed a charge in respect of an alleged offence against
this Act does not appear at the hearing or declines or neglects to proceed
upon or prosecute the charge the court may authorize some other person to
proceed upon or prosecute the charge or may authorize any other person to take
proceedings.
