Obstructing operational staff members

51. Obstructing operational staff members



(1) A person must not assault, resist, obstruct, hinder or delay an
operational staff member within the meaning of the Ambulance Services Act 1986
in the course of the operational staff member providing care or treatment or
attempting to provide care or treatment to a patient.

Penalty: 6 months imprisonment.

(2) Subsection (1) does not apply to a patient referred to in that subsection.
