Complaints and applications

60. Complaints and applications



(1) This section applies if, immediately before the commencement day, a
complaint for an intervention order or interim order or an application for the
variation, revocation or extension of an intervention order or interim order
had been made under the repealed Act but a proceeding in relation to the
complaint or application had not yet started.

(2) On and from the commencement day, the complaint or application may be
dealt with under the new Act as an application for an intervention order or
the variation, revocation or extension of an order as if it were an
application made under that Act.

(3) Section 7A(2) of the repealed Act continues to apply to a police officer
in relation to a complaint or application made by that police officer under
the repealed Act, or in relation to the police officer representing another
police officer at a hearing in accordance with section 7A(1) of that Act, as
if section 7A of the repealed Act had not been repealed.
