Effect of registration

44. Effect of registration



(1) A registered corresponding interstate order-

   (a)  has the same effect as a final order made under section 7; and

   (b)  may be enforced against a person as if it were a final order and as if
        a copy of the order had been served on that person in accordance with
        section 29(1)(b).

(2) The variation or revocation of a corresponding interstate order by a court
of the State or Territory in which it was made after the order is registered
under this section has no effect in Victoria.
