Explanation of orders
23. Explanation of orders
If the court proposes to make an intervention order and the respondent is
before the court, the court must, before making the order, explain to the
respondent-
(a) the purpose, terms and effect of the proposed order, including the
effect of the order on any firearms authority held by the respondent;
and
(b) the consequences that may follow if the respondent fails to comply
with the terms of the proposed order; and
(c) the means by which the proposed order may be varied or revoked.
