VicForests to administer and receive fees from transferred agreements

31. VicForests to administer and receive fees from transferred agreements

On and from the commencement of this section-

   (a)  subject to this Part, the management, administration and enforcement
        of a transferred agreement is transferred from the Secretary to
        VicForests; and

   (b)  despite anything to the contrary in the Forests Act 1958 or a
        transferred agreement, any rent, fee, royalty or charge payable to the
        Secretary under that agreement before that commencement is payable
        after that commencement-

   (i)  to VicForests until the expiry of the transferred agreement; and

   (ii) may be collected and recovered by VicForests until the expiry of that
        transferred agreement; and

   (c)  a reference in a transferred agreement to the Secretary must be taken
        to be a reference to VicForests, unless the context otherwise
        requires.
