Sustainability Charter

11. Sustainability Charter



(1) The Minister may develop a Sustainability Charter.

(2) A Sustainability Charter must set out objectives, consistent with the
principles of ecologically sustainable development, for-

   (a)  the sustainability of forests; and

   (b)  the sustainability of the timber harvesting industry.

(3) The Minister must consult with the Treasurer and the Minister for
Agriculture in developing a Sustainability Charter.
