Application for endorsement

7A. Application for endorsement



(1) A registered second-hand dealer or an applicant for registration as a
second-hand dealer may apply to the Authority for an endorsement of the
registration authorising the holder to carry on business as a pawnbroker.

(2) An application under subsection (1)-

   (a)  must be in writing in or to the effect of the form approved by the
        Authority; and

   (b)  may be made in conjunction with an application for registration or at
        any other time.

(3) If, before an application is determined, the applicant becomes aware of a
change that has occurred in the information provided at any time by the
applicant in, or in relation to, the application, the applicant must, within 7
days after becoming so aware, give particulars of the change to the Authority.

Penalty: 10 penalty units.
