30R. Commonwealth Ombudsman's reports on investigations



(1) The Minister must cause a copy of a report by the Commonwealth Ombudsman
that is sent to the Minister under section 61(3) of the
Surveillance Devices Act 2004 of the Commonwealth to be laid before each House
of the Parliament within 14 sitting days of that House after it is received by
the Minister.

(2) If a report referred to in subsection (1) is sent to the Minister before
the commencement of the Justice Legislation (Further Miscellaneous Amendments)
Act 2006, the Minister must cause a copy of the report to be laid before each
House of the Parliament within 14 sitting days of that House after the
commencement of that Act.
