48. Proceeding does not lie against person on whose land fire accidentally
begins



(1) Despite anything to the contrary, a proceeding cannot be brought or
maintained against any person in whose building or on whose land a fire
accidentally begins and that person is not liable to make any recompense for
any damage caused by that fire.

(2) Nothing in this section defeats or makes void a contract or agreement
between a landlord and a tenant.
