Meetings

52. Meetings



(1) The chairperson or, in his or her absence, a member elected by the members
present must preside at a meeting of the Board.

(2) Except as provided in section 25, the quorum of the Board is 5 members.

(3) A question arising at a meeting of the Board must be determined by a
majority of votes of members present and voting on the question.

(4) In the case of an equality of votes, the person presiding has a second or
casting vote.

(5) The person presiding at a meeting of the Board must ensure that accurate
minutes of the meeting are kept.

(6) Subject to this Act, the Board may regulate its own proceedings.
