Notifications to complainant

31. Notifications to complainant



(1) If a complaint has been made to the Board, the Board must notify the
complainant-

   (a)  within 28 days after the making of the complaint; or

   (b)  if a preliminary investigation is conducted, within 28 days after the
        completion of the preliminary investigation-

whether a formal hearing is to be conducted into the matter and, if so, the
time and place of the hearing and whether the complainant has a right to make
submissions at the hearing.

(2) If a formal hearing arising from a complaint is conducted, the Board must
notify the complainant of-

   (a)  the findings and determinations of the formal hearing; and

   (b)  the reasons for those findings and determinations-

within 28 days after they are made.
