Registration obtained by fraud

14. Registration obtained by fraud



(1) If the Board believes that the registration of a licensed surveyor has
been obtained by fraud or misrepresentation or that the qualifications on
which the licensed surveyor relied for registration have been withdrawn, the
Board must conduct a hearing into the matter.

(2) The Board must give notice of the time and place of the hearing to the
licensed surveyor.

(3) The provisions applying to the conduct of a formal hearing under Part 3
apply to a hearing under this section as if the hearing under this section
were a formal hearing.

(4) If, at the end of the hearing, the Board determines that the registration
of the licensed surveyor has been obtained by fraud or misrepresentation or
that the qualifications on which the licensed surveyor has relied for
registration have been withdrawn, the Board must cancel the registration of
the licensed surveyor.
