Home detention order

18ZT. Home detention order



(1) A court that has sentenced a person to imprisonment for 12 months or less
may make a home detention order directing that the sentence be served by way
of home detention.

(2) This section is subject to this Subdivision and to Division 2B of Part 6.

(3) This section does not apply to the following sentences-

   (a)  a combined custody and treatment order;

   (b)  a drug treatment order;

   (c)  a hospital security order;

   (d)  an intensive correction order;

   (e)  a suspended sentence.
