SENTENCING ACT 1991 - SECT 134
Transitional provision—Working with Children Act 2005(1) The amendments made to this Act by the Working with Children Act 2005 only apply to the sentencing of a person on or after the commencement of that Act in respect of an offence alleged to have been committed on or after that commencement.
(2) For the purpose of subsection (1), if an offence is alleged to have been committed between two dates, one before and one after the commencement of the Working with Children Act 2005 , the offence is alleged to have been committed before that commencement.
