References to the Register under the Transfer of Land Act 1958

45. References to the Register under the Transfer of Land Act 1958

Until the coming into operation of section 7 of the Transfer of Land (Computer
Register) Act 1989, a reference in this Act to-

   (a)  the Register, must be taken to be a reference to the Register Book;
        and

   (b)  a folio of the Register, must be taken to be a reference to a
        registered Crown grant or a registered certificate of title; and

   (c)  folios of the Register, must be taken to be a reference to registered
        Crown grants or registered certificates of title; and

   (d)  a certificate of title must be taken to be a reference to a duplicate
        Crown grant or a duplicate certificate of title.
