Approvals

86. Approvals



(1) An authority given under or for the purposes of-

   (a)  section 78 or 79(5)(b) by the Chief Commissioner of Police; or

   (b)  section 79(5)(a) by the Safety Director-

may be revoked at any time in the manner in which it was given and on
revocation ceases to have any effect.

(2) If it is provided by or under this Part that the Minister or the Chief
Commissioner of Police or any other person may approve of any type or kind of
apparatus or equipment-

   (a)  the approval must be given by notice published in the Government
        Gazette; and

   (b)  any withdrawal of approval must be made by notice published in the
        Government Gazette.
