Commencement

2. Commencement



(1) Subject to subsections (4) and (5), this Act (except sections 129 and 156)
comes into operation on a day or days to be proclaimed.

(2) Sections 129 and 156(2) come into operation on the day after the day this
Act receives the Royal Assent.

(3) Section 156(1) comes into operation on the day section 5 of the Transport
Legislation (Further Amendment) Act 2005 comes into operation.

(4) If a provision of this Act (except section 123) does not come into
operation before 1 January 2007, it comes into operation on that day.

(5) If section 123 does not come into operation before 30 June 2008, it comes
into operation on that day.
