Evidence of engine management system data

79A. Evidence of engine management system data

If in any criminal proceedings, or for any purpose under this Act, any
information held in a vehicle's engine management system is relevant, any
representation of that information derived from an engine management system
reading device specified by the regulations is to be presumed, in the absence
of evidence to the contrary, to be an accurate record of that information if
the device is operated in the manner specified for that device in the
regulations and the information is derived in accordance with the regulations.
