Extension of time limit for certain prosecutions

77A. Extension of time limit for certain prosecutions

Despite anything to the contrary in section 26(4) of the
Magistrates' Court Act 1989, a proceeding for an offence under Division 4 or 6
of Part 10 or under Part 10A against a person in any capacity other than as a
driver or operator of a vehicle may be commenced within 2 years after the
commission of the alleged offence.
