50AA. Previous convictions4

In determining for the purpose of a provision specified in column 1 of the
following table whether an offence (in this section referred to as the
relevant offence) is a first offence, any other offence in respect of which a
conviction was recorded or a finding of guilt was made 10 years or more before
the event specified in relation to that provision in column 2 is to be
disregarded if not to do so would make the relevant offence a subsequent
offence for the purpose of that provision. TABLE Column 1 Column 2 Sections
