Obstruction of road

62. Obstruction of road



(1) Subject to subsection (2), a person must not obstruct the use of a road by
persons or vehicles lawfully entitled to use the road.

Penalty: In the case of a natural person, 10 penalty units; In the case of a
body corporate, 50 penalty units.

(2) Subsection (1) does not apply if the obstruction-

   (a)  is authorised or permitted by or under this Act or any other Act; or

   (b)  arises out of a lawful and reasonable use of the road.
