Offence to fail to comply with direction

61. Offence to fail to comply with direction



(1) A person must comply with a direction issued to the person under clause 3
of Schedule 6 within the time specified in the direction.

Penalty: In the case of a natural person, 10 penalty units; In the case of a
body corporate, 50 penalty units.

(2) It is a defence to a prosecution for an offence under this section if the
person proves that the person had a reasonable excuse for the failure to
comply.
