48. Specific duties and powers in relation to infrastructure and works on
roads



(1) Without affecting any other duties, an infrastructure manager or works
manager has the duties set out in Part 1 of Schedule 7.

(2) The duties set out in Part 1 of Schedule 7 apply to a person who is
responsible for a non-road activity to which section 99B of the
Road Safety Act 1986 applies in relation to the use of the road for the event
as if the person were a works manager.

(3) Without limiting any other powers of a coordinating road authority, a
coordinating road authority has the powers set out in Part 2 of Schedule 7.

(4) A relevant responsible road authority must comply with the requirements of
the coordinating road authority made in the exercise of the powers set out in
Part 2 of Schedule 7.

(5) Schedule 7 has effect.
