Declaration of a public road as a controlled access road

42. Declaration of a public road as a controlled access road



(1) A co-ordinating road authority may by notice published in the Government
Gazette declare-

   (a)  a part or all of a public road for which it is responsible to be a
        controlled access road; or

   (b)  a part or all of a class of public road for which it is responsible to
        be controlled access roads.

(2) A co-ordinating road authority may by notice published in the Government
Gazette amend or revoke a declaration under subsection (1).

(3) Schedule 2 has effect.
