Commencement

2. Commencement



(1) This Part and Divisions 1 and 5 of Part 4 come into operation on the day
after the day on which this Act receives the Royal Assent.

(2) Part 2, Part 3, Divisions 2, 3 and 6 of Part 4, Divisions 3 and 4 of
Part 5, Part 6, Part 7 and Divisions 1, 2, 4 and 5 of Part 8 come into
operation on 1 July 2004.

(3) Subject to subsection (4), Division 4 of Part 4, Divisions 1 and 2 of
Part 5 and Divisions 3 and 6 of Part 8 come into operation on a day or days to
be proclaimed.

(4) If a provision of this Act specified in subsection (3) does not come into
operation before 1 January 2005, it comes into operation on that day.
