Rules of the club

26. Rules of the club



(1) Before a licence authorizing any club to conduct a race-meeting is issued
there shall be submitted to the Minister for his approval a copy of the rules
constituting the club and prescribing the conditions under which the club may
use the race-course upon which its meetings are to be conducted.

(2) Any club which changes its constitution or the conditions under which it
may use a race-course shall submit such alteration for the approval of the
Minister within twenty-eight days of such alteration.

(2A) A change to the constitution of a club or to the conditions under which a
club may use a race-course does not take effect until it is approved by the
Minister.

(3) Nothing in this section confers any power or imposes any obligation on the
Minister to enforce any rules which are approved in accordance with this
section.
