23. Information and documents to be provided
For the purposes of an inquiry or investigation under section 20, the Chief
Commissioner may require by a notice in writing to an applicant-
(a) that the Chief Commissioner be provided with any information, relevant
to the application and specified in the notice, in the manner required
by the Chief Commissioner (and verified by a statutory declaration if
necessary) if the Chief Commissioner is of the opinion that the
information relates to the applicant, a close associate of the
applicant, the nominated person or an officer of the body corporate
(as the case requires); or
(b) that any record, relevant to the application and specified in the
notice, be produced to the Chief Commissioner if the Chief
Commissioner is of the opinion that the record relates to the
applicant, a close associate of the applicant, the nominated person or
an officer of the body corporate (as the case requires); or
(c) that any record produced to the Chief Commissioner under paragraph (b)
be made available for inspection and for the taking of copies.
