Particular powers of Chief Commissioner relating to known information

21. Particular powers of Chief Commissioner relating to known information



In conducting an investigation or making an inquiry under section 20, the
Chief Commissioner may-

   (a)  in the case of an application for a private security individual
        operator licence, have regard to any known information about the
        applicant that is relevant to the application; or

   (b)  in the case of an application for a private security business licence
        by a natural person, have regard to any known information about the
        person or a close associate of the person that is relevant to the
        application; or

   (c)  in the case of an application for a private security business licence
        by a body corporate, have regard to any known information (that is
        relevant to the application) about-

   (i)  the body corporate; and

   (ii) the nominated person; and

   (iii) any officer of the body corporate; and

   (iv) any close associate of the body corporate.
