PRIVATE SECURITY ACT 2004 - SECT 173
Chief Commissioner to keep register(1) The Chief Commissioner must keep a register of holders of private security licences, holders of private security registrations and holders of permits under Division 6 of Part 3 and Division 5 of Part 4 in accordance with the prescribed procedure for keeping the register and containing the prescribed particulars.
(2) A person may, for the purpose of enabling verification of whether a person is licensed or registered under this Act, inspect the part of the register that has been prescribed for the purposes of such inspections.
(3) The Chief Commissioner must ensure that the part of the register that has been prescribed for the purposes of subsection (2) is made available for inspection.
