Person or body no longer a public office

2A. Person or body no longer a public office



For the purposes of this Act, a person or body that was, at any time, a public
office is to be taken never to have been a public office only if-

   (a)  a legislative provision; or





   (b)  regulations made for the purposes of this section-

expressly provide that, for the purposes of this Act, the person or body is
deemed never to have been a public office.
