Authority of constables
11. Authority of constables
Every constable shall have such powers and privileges and be liable to all
such duties as any constable duly appointed now has or hereafter may have
either by the common law or by virtue of any Act of Parliament now or
hereafter to be in force in Victoria, and any member of the police force of
higher rank than a constable shall have all the powers and privileges of a
constable whether conferred by this Act or otherwise.
